I.T. Assistant
Experienced certified technical user able to achieve the following key outputs:
Preventative maintenance on servers and desktops;
Identify opportunities and implement (or manage the implementation of) enhancements and configuration changes;
Both on and off-site software and hardware troubleshooting and support;
Custodian and storage of all clientele intellectual property (i.e. data);
Maintain IT infrastructure site audit;
Successful resolution of IT issues;
Fulfil obligations as set out within the SLA on a client to client basis;
Switch out backup drives (pending SLA), take switched out backup drive off site for storage;
Perform server preventative maintenance:
- MS updates,
- Vendor specific updates (vendor provided update utilities),
- Event Viewer spot checks,
- Perform correctional procedures based on event log reports,
- Diagnose firewall logs and monitored reports,
- Run through backup logs for any inconsistencies and repair if required,
- Run periodic backup drive defrag and data storage control.
