Power constraints

Given the nature of power shortages and outages within Southern Africa, the ever present problem in under supply (Brown-outs), lack of supply (Black-outs) culminating with the presence of surges; are often responsible for the resultant hardware damage, loss of data and even corruption of either data and/or systems.
SA power issues
AnP Consulting, have as a company, witnessed many networks fail at the advent of poor power management. AnP believe that if the Laptop is not your primary workstation platform, then a minimum of the combination of a surge protection plug and the use of individual Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) devices per desktop should be a standard in an effort made toward the fight against power inconsistencies.

Laptops in their own right, produce a smaller carbon footprint due to its indirect reduction in power requirements, that is - an average of 60 watts versus an average of 300 watts required by the standard desktop workstation.

The laptop power supply also comes with built-in surge protection and of course, the actual battery, providing additional productive time.

The result is that the laptop user is furnished with a well rounded utility that also provides mobility and further security.
